It's fairly uncommon for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) to have multiple piercings. What's the deal with piercings anyway? Are members of the restored Church banned from piercing their body? If so, why?

They also discuss that while members of the Church (otherwise known as the LDS Church) are discouraged from getting more than one piercing, there are certainly cultures in which it's okay. And guess what? You can still be a worthy member with multiple piercings. You can still participate in the temple and all of the ordinances.
