One of the beautiful things about marrying your friend is that your vulnerability won’t be used against you. It is a beautiful thing to genuinely be committed to a person and grow through life together, one step at a time. In this episode, my guests shared their stories with me, how they have been able to grow together and the realities of what is keeping them on track.
In this episode, my guest and I had a conversation about self-realization, personal growth and overcoming the deafening noise from the outside.
Humans are naturally logical beings, our wiring may sometimes hinder us from enjoying the fullness of all that God could be to us. Faith is a major force in our walk with God, which we may not be able to properly analyse with our senses. There is something called cognitive belief and non-cognitive belief. Cognitive belief is to believe in something or someone that you know and that you can see physically. The non-cognitive belief is to believe in something or someone you do not know.
In this episode, my guest and I had a conversation about human cognitive psychology and our faith, how religion affects our cognitive behaviour, and other aspects of building a healthy cognition and faith.
No matter what we have going on in our lives, we all need God. I have prayed for you in this episode; I hope it blesses your heart.
Have you had experiences in which you were not sure if you heard God? Or experiences where you battled to consider what you heard from God as the voice of your emotions? I really need you to know that you are not the only one with such an experience.
How well do you handle your emotional ecstasies and their other dynamics?
Purpose and platform are two different phenomena. Most of the time, platform has been explained as purpose, which is not. Platform is the position you occupy at different times in your life, which is most of the time a profession or career. Purpose is the force that keeps you impactful and fulfilling, whatever platform you occupy.
In this episode, I spoke about how I felt towards God at a phase in my life.
At some point, I thought, perhaps God only answers prayer based on His willingness and not based on our faith, as it has always been preached. One of the major questions I had was “is it the intensity of our prayer that moves God, or His willingness to do what He wants to do?” I was really hurt because my specific prayer points were not answered…
I hope you’ll also learn that God is always good.
No matter what your religion is, you’ll at one point or the other face some life realities. A major advantage we have as Christians is that we have the Spirit of God who teaches us all things.
In this episode, I had a discussion with Damilola Tunji-Gbesan on some of the major life hacks we can deploy as Christians even in the face of the uncertainties of this life.
Without a doubt, childhood is an integral part of our growth, in the sense that our experiences and exposure at that stage forms the foundation of our life journey as a whole over time. Your childhood experiences could either be a positive or negative or a moderate mixture of both. On whichever side your experiences fall is the basis on which your present and probably future perception about life are built.
In this episode, I had a conversation with Coach Wale Adejuyigbe about HOW CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES FORM OUR PERCEPTION OF LIFE.
