November 11, 2023 WoT on Prime (S2E1 "A Taste of Solitude"): Obstacles and Inciting Events
The strikes are over and Ali and Gus are here to share their thoughts on Season 2 of THE WHEEL OF TIME on Amazon Prime, starting with Season 2 Episode 1 - "A TASTE OF SOLITUDE"

This episide was recorded in September shortly after the release of the show, but was not released due to the ongoing strikes.

~~~
As the episodes of THE WHEEL OF TIME show release, Ali and Gus will be bringing their experience in the entertainment industry to the table to do an analysis of the adaptational choices made in the process of bringing THE WHEEL OF TIME from the page to the screen.
These episodes are broken into three categories:
1) "I am a show-only fan" - folks who have never picked up a WHEEL OF TIME book can listen to the first (and longest) part of our episodes, where we analyze the adaptation insofar as it covers what it has already covered in the books.
2) "I am a Wheel Takes listener" - folks who are current with our book discussion episodes can continue into our second section, where we discuss the long-term logic behind (and ramifications of) choices made by the adaptation as far as Ali has read.
3) "I'm fully spoiled" - folks who have finished THE WHEEL OF TIME can stick around for thoughts from Gus (and Bree) on the choices made by the adaptation from a fully spoiled perspective.
We do not recommend skipping sections wholesale, as each builds on what comes before it.
CHECK YOUR PODCAST PLAYER'S CHAPTERS FOR INFORMATION ON WHEN EACH SECTION STARTS - THE BELOW TIMESTAMPS DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR ADVERTISEMENTS, WHICH VARY IN LENGTH BY REGION
Part 1 of our discussion does NOT spoil any distinct show mysteries but discusses elements from the books without spoiling them.
Part 2 begins at 2:02:01 and contains SPOILERS through THE END of WINTER'S HEART
There is NO Part 3 for this episode.
