On this week's show the gang will talk with recent comp winner from Virginia Doug Doll Jr. Doug will talk about his new ride with Charlie Greco Racing in Comp and his weekend at Atco with his Super Comp Dragster. The gang will also talk about the National Open race this past weekend at Atco, the National Event at Atlanta and look forward to the National at Topeka, D-3 Race at Norwalk and the Mid Atlantic .90 Race at Maple Grove get their season kicked off for 2016.

This week's interview is with Division 1 veteran Doug Doll Jr. At age 18, Doll, Jr. earned his first National Event Wally trophy while competing at the 45th Annual U.S. Nationals in Clermont, IN while racing in the Super Comp sportsman category. Since 1999, Doll, has placed himself into ten national event finals, six of which he earned wins. Doug is a master of many traits as not only does he run Comp and Super Comp but, he has his license in a Nostalgia Funny Car. So we will have a lot of things to talk about with Doug on Wednesday Night's show.

On this week's show the gang will talk with Karl Fredrickson of Speedway Illustrated. Karl will talk about the ever popular topic of safety in racing. The gang will also talk about the National Open race being held at Atco Raceway this upcoming weekend that will see a few of the Wheelz-Up Members attending. We will also take a look at the NHRA National Event tour which will stop in Hot-Lanta this weekend.

This week's interview is with Karl Fredrickson, Editor of Dick Berggren’s Speedway Illustrated Magazine. Karl developed his love of racing when a friend took him to a race at Hudson Speedway in New Hampshire. It was a life changing event for him, and he was hooked instantly. When he turned sixteen he started begging everyone he knew, except his parents, to take him to the speedway to go racing. Eventually he broke down and had to tell his parents what he had been doing every weekend, and surprisingly they were supportive and let him work on his race car at home. His dad told him that he knew people in the business and to contact Doug Gore. This connection led to a job at Stock Car Racing Magazine and twenty two years later he is still working with approximately the same group of people. Karl will talk about the hot topic of safety in auto racing along with a few other things.

On this week's show the gang will talk with Stock & Super Stock Eliminator Racer Charley Downing. Charley will talk about his race team and give a wrap-up from the weekends festivities at Indy as Division 3 started off their season. The gang will also talk about the LODRS race held at Virginia Motorsports Park that finished up about 24 hours sooner than expected. The NHRA National Event tour also stopped in Houston for a very fun and interesting weekend.

Our guest on Wednesday's Night comes to us from the great state of Michigan and has been very successful the past few years with his Varsity Ford / Downing Farms fleet of Cobra Jets Mustangs. Charley has added a few Wally's to his mantle so far in his career and will let us know how he made out in Indy and what his plans are for the 2016 season. The gang will also pick his brain about the future of the Factory Stock Showdown with only 13 Pro Stock Cars showing up at Houston we will ask Charley if it's time for a change in the Pro ranks.

Can you smell that?? Ahhh yes, the smell of race gas is in the air as the racing season kicks off this weekend for Division 1 down in Dinwiddie, Va. On this week's show the gang will talk with Stock Eliminator Racer and  Scotty Richardson's Drag Racing School employee Daniel Young. Daniel has been tearing up the NHRA & IHRA tour this year with wins at the Gatornationals & most recently at the IHRA Race at Orlando Speed world. The gang will also have a special guest in Jon Pellicane who will talk about his trip to the 4-wides over the weekend and break down this upcoming weekend's race at Virginia Motorsports Park along with the other action packed weekend events happing on the quarter mile.

Our guest on Wednesday's Night comes to us from sunny Florida and has been tearing up the NHRA & IHRA tour this year with wins at the Gatornationals & most recently at the IHRA Race at Orlando Speedworld. Who are we talking about? None other than Daniel Young the driver of the Lucas Oil Stock Camaro out of Division 2. When Daniel is not terrorizing the competition down south you can find him at Scotty Richardson's Drag Racing School teaching all the up and coming drivers how to race like himself on the drag-strip.

The gang will also talk about the weekend in racing as Division 2 fired up in Charlotte for the first of two weekends in NC, the Spring Fling Million in Las Vegas and the IHRA made a stop for a divisional at State Capitol Dragway in La. Plus we will dissect some interesting news that came out of the NHRA this week about the "Four Wides" and entry fee's.

Shane Sweigart is going on his 11th year working for Penske Racing located in Reading, Pa. Shane has become a regular fixture around the race track driving his Koller Chiropractic Dodge in bracket competition that recently broke into the 9's during a test session at Cecil County. When he's not racing you can find Shane helping racers out with different set-ups with their Penske Shocks to make it the easiest and smoothest drive down the quarter mile. We will talk with Shane about what makes Penske Shocks the choice over the competition and what he has planned for the 2016 season.
