On this week's show the gang will talk with Port-A-Tree Design & Product Development Manager Allison Smyth about weather stations and other happenings going on at Port-A-Tree. The gang will also talk about yet another somber weekend at the PDRA Race at Rockingham, the D-4 Race at No Problem Raceway and the boat nationals... I mean D-7 Race in Las Vegas.

Our guest on Wednesday's Night comes to us from Massachusetts and has become quite the regular on Wheelz-Up Radio over the past few years. Allison Smyth is the Design & Product Development Manager at Port-A-Tree Products. Allison will take some time out of her busy schedule to talk about weather stations. As we all know weather can really effect a cars performance because cold weather will make a car go fast, whereas hot weather will slow you down. Also, some tracks have what they call the sea level factor, all in which may hinder a cars performance at select tracks. Allison will try to make it all make sense for the common fan with the help from Mike, Bob & Lew.

On this week's show, Brian Greer who the son of the late Nitro Funny Car Champion Shirl Greer about the history the Greer family has in Drag Racing. On the second hour the team will talk with New England Dragway GM Joe Lombardo about the in & out's of what it takes to run a successful drag strip these days. Chris, Mike & Rob will also dissect the NHRA National Event at Las Vegas, the double-up D2 race at Atlanta and the IHRA Race in Texas.

Brian will talk about his up-bringing into the sport of Drag Racing with his father Shirl and that remarkable 1974 NHRA Funny Car Championship that his dad won. Brian will also tell us what he's up to these days as the speed shop manager at 423 Speed Shop. The second guest on Wednesday Night will be New England Dragway's own Joe Lombardo. Joe, is the GM of NED and will talk about how NED was able to secure an National Event a few years back, what goes into running an event as big as that in such a small area and how to keep the fans coming back year after year. Joe will also tell us what he likes to do when he's not at NED playing GM.

Hale, has worked his way up through the ranks of Drag Racing as his driving career began at age 22 driving an e.t. bracket roadster . He quickly picked up the need for speed eventually building his own rear engine dragster.  While driving other owners' cars he continued crewing on teams, eventually to the pro-ranks with Cruz Pedregon where they recorded a win at the Matco Supernationals in Englishtown, NJ.

Wednesday's Nights guest comes to us from upstate New York. Jon Pellicane had a story book year in 2015 with 3 victories that put him on the map as a contender in the ever so tough 9.90 class. The odd part about his victories were that 2 of those 3 victories that he claimed for the Championship were in Division 3 and not in Division 1. Pellicane, claimed victories in Norwalk & Bowling Green and added his lone victory for Division 1 at Maple Grove Raceway. When Jon is not running his Super Gas Corvette he spends a lot of time underground (Yes, underground) as a Salt Mine Operator for one of his main sponsors - American Rock Salt. Jon will talk about his early beginnings in racing and how he's preparing for one of his daughters to get ready to go Junior Dragster Racing.

When he has the time Gardner likes to mix it up with his 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang in NHRA & NMCA Competition running in the ever popular Factory Stock Showdown and Factory Super Car Classes. If the name sounds familiar to those in other forms of motorsport’s it's because Gardner was one of the most successful tractor pullers on the East Coast with his "General" turbine engine tractor on the NTPA tour. We will talk with Gardner on Wednesday Night about how he made out at the NMCA event and how he is preparing for the Gatornationals this upcoming weekend.
