Every man will face temptation in their life.  We can't avoid temptation.  Our fallen and sinful flesh and the world that we live in, have many things that will tempt us to sin against God.  Temptations purpose is to lead us astray from doing God's will and to focus on doing our own will.  Temptation is not a sin, but giving in to it is.  God promised that He will not give us more temptation then we can handle, and He also promised a way of escape when we are tempted.  Most people give in to these lusts of our flesh, but we want to be men who stand and fight against temptation so we can live our lives pleasing before God.  The only way this battle can be won, is by fighting with the truth of the Bible.  We fight temptation with the written word of God.  I hope you are encouraged by today's podcast.
