"Ms. Carol, what do you do when you hate yourself?  When you make the same mistake over and over again, and you hate yourself for it?" The young man asked me the brutally honest question through many heartfelt tears, and I was so incredibly proud of him for doing so because it's a question I have been asked many times.  It's a question I have asked MYSELF so many times.

So today's episode is incredibly personal.

In the first half of this podcast, we will explore what God's Word says when we condemn ourselves.  We will look at where condemnation comes from and how it differs from conviction.  We will consider what to do about that sin that keeps us in bondage, that thing we keep doing over and over and over again!

In the second half, we are going to look closely at this issue of self-hate.  I will NOT be preaching the gospel of loving yourself to boost your self-esteem.  Instead, we will see what God's Word says about why self-hate is wrong.  We will see how we can speak the truth to ourselves!!

This issue is so deep, so personal, it may have to be a two-parter... so stay tuned for more!
