Let Us Teach You about These Polls (not poles!) {SABA JOKE 😆}
Welcome Back to Where the Party At?!
How do you read a poll?
What are the different types of polls?
What is the Bradley Effect?
Political polls can seem complex. You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers. Who gets polled, when are they polled, how are they are polled, who pays for the poll? These can all impact the poll results
In the Atlanta mayor’s race, the top polls conducted by media outlets show the race is between Felicia Moore and Kasim Reed. In this episode, we break down the polls to help you understand where the race stands.
There’s a lot we don’t get into in this episode – things like a poll’s margin of error and weighting.
At the end of the day, polls are just a snapshot of what you see on the ground but they don’t tell the whole story. The game is actually won by the work you don’t see – the doors that the campaigns are knocking on, the phone bank calls, the conversations with neighbors that influence you to vote for one person over another.
