We took a trip to Yaletown to visit Gio Amenta at his home and we discussed his professional music career, all his various design and art projects, growing up and coming out in Squamish, and what it takes to be happy! It was Fryer's birthday so loads of Backcountry Brewing was consumed! Enjoy!
Cory Douglas joins us in the shed to chat about growing up in Squamish, using native art as a bridge to reconciliation, and being a child star on The Beachcombers. Oh, and we get a little political this time around... sorry, eh. Of course, Backcountry Brewing beverages were consumed and lots of fun reminiscing was had! Enjoy!
Ben & Marc from Backcountry Brewing join us in the shed and brought loads of beer!! We discuss how they came about, the inspirations behind their crazy marketing, the craft beer industry, upcoming projects, and other wacky shenanigans - oh, and an interesting discussion on their logo. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
We had broadcast legend and festival mastermind Tamara Stanners join us in the shed. We chatted about the Constellation Festival, life in the media, meeting celebrities, Jimmy P, and plenty of other shenanigans. Plenty of Backcountry Brewery beverages were consumed and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
We are very lucky to have pro mountain biker, designer, artist and social media star Micayla Gatto join us in the shed. We talked about what it takes to be on the circuit, overcoming adversity, upcoming projects, and other wacky shenanigans. Plenty of Backcountry Brewery beverages were shared (especially the "Fashion Victim" & "Assembly Challenged") and hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Warning: coarse language (not nearly the same amount in previous episodes - perhaps since Evelyn's daughter was also there.)
We had MMA pro fighter Jamey Horth Wessels join us in the shed. We talked about her trials and tribulations in the world of fighting, her work in the community, her questionable taste in movies, and other wacky shenanigans. Plenty of Backcountry Brewery beverages were shared (especially the "What The Five FIngers Say to the Face?", "Strike First Strike Hard No Mercy" and the "Don't Touch My Drumset") and hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Warning: coarse language.
