The ego is the identity that we create for ourselves, sometimes, in order to protect ourselves. Anger was an identity that I used to keep people away from me as a form of protection until I realized that I had to confront and destroy that part of myself. Anger might have worked for me as a child and teenager but as an adult it no longer served me. This is the story of how my higher-self reminded me to practice emotional intelligence so that I don't erupt.
