Well, it happens to all DMs eventually. Doors. What used to be a stairs related problem has come full circle to solving a door puzzle. Wait, when is a solved puzzle not solved? This episode.

The Scarlet Tyrant, destroyer of ants! One of my favorite uses of a great spell is used to great effect in this one. More DMs need to allow these terrible lizards in the game. It's just so much fun!

New NPC who dis? The Doomslayers meet someone in an unusual place and way. I'm sure they aren't important, weird NPCs never are. Wait, are the Doomslayers assuming he's evil? You'd think the DM knew how to write an NPC by now. (SPOILER: He doesn't.)

A broken mural, an avoided trap...a tripped trap...a known trap tripped. well....It's all fine, it's good. The Doomslayers make slow progress into the structure, and get some fun info to chew on

You know what's fun? Charades with rocks, hidden goodies, bad sleight of hand, and secret entrances. Less fun? Feeding new friends pieces of yourself. I said what I said.

The Doomslayers move further into the cave and need to negotiate. Rough personalities and hardline aggression forge the way. Well hopefully. Might be terrible really...

Yeah Freud is having a field day with the poor DM. either way, rule 1 of the dungeon; run head first into everything. rule 2; if you encounter something just run harder. rule 3 ??? rule 4; profit.

Grrrdon returns! Unfortunately so do the clittering - CHITTERING ankhegs. It'll be fine, there's probably not too many. Why does that one look so gimpy though?
