I need to break the silence about some things when it comes to being Brian right now. This isn’t about me as much as it is about trying to make myself better understood, to help others who may be at their wit’s end trying to understand and develop compassion for their loved ones and the world around them. Please forgive my audio. I will be coming back to re record and share some of these things again. Sometimes capturing the moment isn’t perfect, and is best done with all 5 senses.Guys, I haven’t been doing my best. For a long time, I struggled to find my true purpose in life, and I looked to reselling as a way to buy myself some room to figure it out. That journey has led me to some very cool people and places. But the value I seem to give the most of, I haven’t been able to ask money for. So now, I’m going to ask for it anyway, and see if anyone wants to support me in realizing my purpose. If you’re down with that and want to support my journey, you can find my Cash App link below.I now know that part of my life’s purpose is doing exactly what I’m starting here. And to those who have already contributed time, energy, or money to my success—thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I wouldn’t have made it this far, with my life force so securely attached to my body, without you. This is also for all those who’ve carried the weight of truths that, as Tracy Chapman might have said in her song ‘Change,’ cannot be soothed.Through a miraculous sequence of events, here I am again, sitting before you, in awe that it’s even possible. Today, I’m sharing part of my journey that’s shaped who I am now. As a Navy petty officer and a sergeant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, I went to war twice. But it wasn’t the battles overseas that left the deepest scars—honestly, I never even heard a gunshot—it was the moral injury that cut deeper than anything else.Right now, I’ve only been granted 10% military disability for the ringing in my ears. But let me tell you, I’m grateful to be here. There’s no doubt in my mind that a force greater than us put in a lot of energy to make sure I’m sitting here, writing to you now.I’ll admit my delivery might be a little scattered at times, so bear with me. If you have questions, I’d be happy to answer them, or maybe your thoughts will guide us into future conversations, dictations, or interviews. Please share this podcast on Substack, Subscribe and Stay tuned for more more and less refined recordings such as this.If you would like to donate to my doing more of this type of work:https://cash.app/$Ou81R2D2
