President Trump issued a statement on Tuesday saying that the US will stand by Saudi Arabia regardless of whether Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the murder of journalist Jamaal Khashoggi. The Saudi’s are central to Trump’s Middle East strategy and does not want to lose a huge weapons deal that amounts to billions of dollars.
