WL//WH Premiere: TESTÍCULO "Elementos del Terror (Original Mix)"

WL//WH is pleased to Premiere the Original “Elementos Del Terror” by Testiculo with lyrics carved by bone tools and thorny blades, laying the foundation for a meandering moody post-punk bass line throbbing along with hypnotic crisp beats to drive through a distorted reality of warped, screechy obsessive FXs, haunting ceremonial glows, and clattering dubwise resonances, whilst detached, angsty vocals, haloed by shining female echoes, are terrorized by menacing growls, droning stabs, and unexpected arcade chaos, left running through the destruction in numb dread.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

The upcoming "Elementos del Terror" remix album isn't just a testament to Testículo's intriguing art. It's a global celebration of music, with remixes from a myriad of international artists: the beats of Pedro999, Raíz Savia, Bikatronika, 1134_, and Sauren Kids from Argentina; Dataísmo's Mexican reverberations; the Spanish tunes of Squaric and The Hombre Invisible; the Grecian echoes of Grey Gallows; the Polish harmonies of Rozmazani; the Romanian rhythms of ProAntiAnti; the soulful strains from Georgia by Henry Keller; and the Far East nuances of Fuyama Yousuke and Jin Cromanyon from Japan.

The record is jointly christened by two labels, Periphylla(a sublabel of Diffuse Reality) and the celebrated pantanosumpf. Both serve as a testament to the expansive reach and collaborative nature of this release.

WL//WH is very pleased to premiere "Blocage Violent", the fourth song from Impair Pierre's forthcoming 12-track debut album, "Promenades de Jour", due out this November 2, 2023, via London-based DIY label Meta Moto.

Somehow recalling the melancholy-laden vibrant wave of early Indochine entangled with The Cure-like sparkly baritone 6-string hypnotism, "Blocage Violent", sound-wise, is an obsessive pain-staking release of anxiety...with wistful, restless vocals reciting an extensive list of items blocked on a personal computer to avoid discomfort.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Impair Pierre is the new alias of French electronic multi-instrumentalist and composer Léonard Lampion (also part of Hard Lab and Peep Night), created as an escape route from dark basements and the influence of club music. Since 2017, Impair Pierre has been writing songs in his office in Grenoble, that oscillate between Minimal Wave and Post-punk, using synthesizers, guitar, and voice. Finding inspiration in the events of everyday life, he seeks to develop a form of minimalism.

omenades de jour - this record developed from a desire to write songs that were relatively refined and spontaneous. It brings together experiments with the Yamaha PS-20 synth, songs imbued with a certain melancholy, and others with a more satirical bent. The record is a succession of photos, landscapes, and situations both real and imaginary, like a walk in the spring sun.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere "Science We Trust" by Greek producer Noamm, taken from the upcoming "Electroporation EP 12", via Athens-based label Tiger Weeds, a painstakingly crafted distillation of haunting, stark and dark Electro, that jitterily throbs through relentless pounding drums and flickering squelchy bassline frenzy, topped by eerie, lingering sci-fi strings, to build a sinister intoxication insinuated by deceptive, distorted vocals, evoking lust for a shadowy esoteric knowledge, left worshipping "Science We Trust."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

After making his mark on TWDIG01, the enigmatic artist Noamm from Northern Greece makes his return on Tiger Weeds with a solo 6-track EP. Featuring stripped-down, back-to-basics sound, which truly showcases his mastery of minimalism. Each track has been thoughtfully composed to emphasize the raw and unadulterated essence of electro. In today's complex world, Noamm's music embraces the 'less-is-more' aesthetic.

WL//WM Premiere:

Medellin-based Independent Electronic label Sonidos Subterraneos is pleased to present the explosive collaboration: French vocal master Valérie Hendrich aka VALANAÏS and the young Mexican EBM/Techno noisemaker Datura Inoxia.

“Lueurs Noires” is a perfect journey between the almost nihilistic, narration-like voice of VALANAÏS and the brutal, concrete-stomping EBM of Datura Inoxia together offering a dense and deep dark essence.

Injects a strobing dungeon of ominous murky drones, heavy stomping kicks, steely hard-slashing beats, relentless low-end corrosion, steam-powered hisses, and frantic strident synth swarms, to encapsulate dissociative high-energy vocals in endless obsessive spirals of clangorous intoxication, opening bolted gateways of non-stop-dancing-trance. Enjoy

Datura Inoxia & VALANAÏS‘ upcoming digital EP “Lueurs Noires” is scheduled for release on May 31, 2024, via Sonidos Subterraneos Bandcamp.
