Donnie a team member of Team200 and if you know anything about those guys, they kill monster bucks!! Donnie grew up in indiana where he gained his passion for hunting and always had a dream to move to the known big buck state of Kansas. Later down the road Donnie chased his dream and moved to Kansas and he learned very quickly it was a good decision for a die hard whitetail hunter!! Now Donnie has killed two 200 inch bucks and doesn’t have any plans of slowing down!! We were in Indianapolis for 5 days and it was amazing having the whole team kick it for so long!! We talk about how our week went and all the crazy support we got and the amazing people we got to talk to. We talk about Asio Gear and going out to dinner with their team and why we’re fired up to be rocking it this year. We also talk about going out to dinner with the Elevate Tree Stand Company team and why we’ve already fell in love with their stands!! I talk with Jackie about his early days and how he gained the passion for the outdoors, hunting, and how it led him to start Buck Masters which was the first hunting show on cable television!! Jackie was definitely a pioneer for hunting television and the outdoor industry in general and he is household name in most hunters. We talk about Buck Masters from the very beginning and where it has took him many decades later!! I’m joined on this episode by Joey Pavlovicz a die hard whitetail hunter out of Ohio. Joey had a wild 3 year ride chasing a GIANT buck he named “Bankrupt”. Following this buck starting in 2020 as a 3 1/2 year old and finding his sheds the first two years, joey started to get a game plan together in 2022 and laid eyes on the world class whitetail that summer leading into the 2022 deer season!! Greg Glesinger joins us on this episode and to say he is a wealth of knowledge would be an understatement. Most people know who he is but for those who don’t he has been a big buck killer for years and more importantly he is consistently killing mature bucks while doing so. Greg is a student of the game and from early on he knew “if you aren’t the expert, be the teacher, and be a dang good one”. Having that mentality and being very methodical about his process from fine turning his archery setup all the way to making ultimate whitetail paradise with great land management practice that he has learned over the years. We talk about the importance of filming your hunts for many different reason that make you a better hunter and conservationists. Greg was a team member of Drury Outdoors for many years, becoming producer of the year twice and after fulfilling everything he set out to do, he ultimately decided to leave the Drury Team with nothing but love and respect for what they have done and will continue to do. After a short time of doing his own thing lots of people wanted to work with Greg and now he’s about to start his new whitetail journey and we were fortunate enough to spend sometime getting to pick his brain and get to know him at the same time.
