WHL This Week - Radio Edition, updates Canada's World Junior team from their training camp in Banff.  12 players from the WHL have been named to Team Canada.  We will hear from Connor Bedard on making the team at 16 years-old and take a look at what could be an all WHL line up front featuring Jake Neighbours, Justin Sourdif & Ridly Greig.

A week after the WHL Prospects Draft, half of the first round selections have already signed with their WHL club while some have already suited up in a WHL game.  We'll have an update.

Tri-City Americans D Lukas Dragicevic helped the Ams get on a bit of a roll last week.  With five points in two Americans' victories, Dragicevic was named the WHL Player of the Week.  He'll be our guest.

1st overall pick of the Spokane Chiefs Berkly Catton joins a long list of first overall selections in WHL Draft history.  The native of Saskatoon, SK can't wait to get started.  He'll be our guest.

Former longtime NHL'er and Lethbridge Hurricanes alumni Brent Seabrook is getting a taste of what it's like behind the bench.  The rugged d-man has been invited by the Vancouver Giants to fill the void with Head Coach Michael Dyck away with Canada's World Junior program.  We caught up with Brent before a recent game.

Finally, Portland Winterhawks over-ager F Jaydon Dureau just tore it up last week with 10 points in three games.  He'll close out our show with Nick Marek. 

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, takes you back to this week's live announcement for Canada's World Junior Selection Camp.  15 WHL players will look to represent Canada at the IIHF U-20 World Junior Tournament in Edmonton and Red Deer.

Vancouver Giants captain Justin Sourdiff is one of the 15 WHL players who will head to Canada's Selection Camp. He'll be joined by Head Coach Michael Dyck who will serve as an Assistant Coach.  Sourdiff will be our guest.

A WHL blockbuster trade with seven weeks to go before the trade deadline. The Prince Albert Raiders sending D Kaiden Guhle to the Edmonton Oil Kings for a big return.  Hear why Raiders GM Curtis Hunt made the move.

Calgary Hitmen F Sean Tschigerl is the WHL Player of the Week after an eight-point weekend. The Hitmen are beginning to gather momtentum.  He'll close out the show.

A major storm in BC has affected action in the BC Division due to road closures in the province. We'll provide and update as work continues to restore main corridors between the Lower Mainland and Interior.

Swift Current Broncos F Matt Ward picked up seven points in a three game stretch to help his team earn five of a possible six points.  Matt was on the Broncos This Week Podcast and we'll share that.

Finally, Kamloops Blazers G Dylan Garand is the WHL Goaltender of the Week.  He stopped 49 of 50 shots in a pair of victories.  He has his team on top of the BC Division.  He'll close out our show.

Former WHL goaltender Connor Ingram made his NHL debut last weekend - making 32 saves in a 5-2 win for the Nashville Predators. Ingram has overcome mental illness this past year. More on his story.

The Vancouver Giants have been quick to re-tool their roster after losing some key players the past two seasons.  Giants General Manager Barclay Parnetta discusses how they were able to land 1st round NHL pick Fabian Lysell from the Boston Bruins.

Finally, Saskatoon Blades F Tristen Robins is the reigning WHL Player of the Week - he'll join us to conclude this week's show.

WHL Goaltender of the Week Sebastian Cossa of the Edmonton Oil Kings is already in top form.  It could be a big year for Cossa with the IIHF World Juniors in a couple months.  He'll be our guest.

In Victoria, a bright spot this season has been F Brayden Schuurman. He's the WHL Player of the Week and will join us.

Two stars in the BC Division will go head-to-head this season. Boston Bruins 1st round pick Fabian Lysell was re-assigned to the Vancouver Giants while Logan Stankoven is back with the Kamloops Blazers after signing an NHL Entry Level Contract with the Dallas Stars.  Hear from both.

Winnipeg ICE F Owen Pederson is the WHL Player of the Week after six points and two wins on opening weekend. We will get more with him.

The Kelowna Rockets plan to honour their bus driver who passed away this in a tragic motorcycle accident this summer.  Head Coach Kris Mallette talks about their motivation to wear a special helmet decal this season.
