WHL This Week - Radio Edition, has the breakdown of two massive moves involving star players in Wenatchee.   The Moose Jaw Warriors acquired F Matthew Savoie and the Swift Current Broncos are adding F Connor Geekie - both from the Wenatchee Wild.  We will hear from Wild GM Bliss Littler on the two moves and what might have forced his hand.  We will get the Moose Jaw perspective from Warriors GM Jason Ripplinger.

The Prince George Cougars have been active ahead of the WHL Trade Deadline.  They've added two veterans in D Chase Pauls and F Borya Valis. Cougars GM/Head Coach Mark Lamb says they may not be done.  He'll be our guest.

The Tempo WHL Player of the Week is Spokane Chiefs F Chase Bertholet.  The veteran F is coming off a big week and leads his team into a Central Division road swing.

Finally, Red Deer Rebels G Chase Wutzke has elevated his play to get the Red Deer Rebels right back into the mix near the top of the Central Division and Eastern Conference.  He's the WHL Goaltender of the Month for December and will wrap up our show in conversation with Troy Gillard.

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, has the story of a life saving incident involving two members of the Kelowna Rockets.  Both Ty Hurley and Ethan Neutens sprung into action at a recent overnight stop in Strathmore, AB.  We will hear from both.

Two teams in the WHL's East Division are starting to make big moves.  Both the Saskatoon Blades and Brandon Wheat Kings are putting together lengthy winning streaks. More with Blades Head Coach Brennan Sonne and Wheat Kings GM/Head Coach Marty Murray.

Quite the story in Prince George this season with rookie goaltender Josh Ravensbergen.  He's already tied the WHL rookie record for shutouts.  We will learn more about Josh as he wraps up our show in an interview with Cami Kepke. 

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, introduces you to new incoming WHL Commissioner Dan Near.  In a sit down chat with the WHL's Cami Kepke, Dan tells us about his background and his vision for the Western Hockey League moving forward when he takes over the role in early 2024 for outgoing Commissioner Ron Robison. 

The Victoria Royals have a star in the making in 16 year-old F Cole Reschny. He's already at a point-per-game production in his first full season in the WHL. He's also coming off a hat-trick earlier this week. He'll be our guest.

The Tempo WHL Player of the Week is Medicine Hat Tigers F Andrew Basha.  The prospect for the 2024 NHL Draft is coming off a big two game set where he collected four goals and added two assists in a pair of victories.  He'll close out the show. 

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, takes a closer look at the potential WHL talent for Canada's U20 World Junior Team.  Peter Anholt is the General Manager for Canada's bid for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships in Sweden.  He joins us to discuss the upcoming selection camp and what they are looking for in players.

Sportsnet NHL Draft Analyst Sam Cosentino joins to discuss the top WHL NHL Draft Prospects for 2024.  His take on players like Berkly Catton, Ryder Ritchie, Carter Yakemchuk, Tig Iginla and more.

It was a big week for Prince George Cougars F Koehn Ziemmer.  He signed his NHL Entry Level Contract with the LA Kings and was also named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week.  He joins Cole Waldie to wrap up Episode 10 of WHL This Week.

Former Seattle Thunderbirds & Tri-City Americans F Sam Huo is having a great 2nd year with the UBC Thunderbirds.  He's the first WHL Canada West Graduate of the Month of the new season after leading UBC to a team record 10-0 start.  Sam will join us to discuss the start to the season, his time in the WHL and how he's utilizing the WHL Scholarship Program.

Finally, Portland Winterhawks F Gabe Klassen has been named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week after recording nine points in just two games to conclude a lengthy road trip. He'll wrap up our show.

November is a month for men's health and men's cancer awareness.  Vancouver Giants Head Coach Manny Viveiros has had his own personal battle.  He shares his story and spreads the word of awareness.

The Vancouver Giants are again going out of the box with their latest jersey design.  They will wear "referee striped" sweaters later this month - a first across the sports landscape.  As Giants Asst. General Manager Pete Toigo explains, besides having some fun, it's also an awareness campaign for youth officials.
