We are beyond excited to bring us a movie that traumatize him, the 1989 family/fantasy movie, Little Monsters. Joss shares how this Fred Savage and Howie Mandel lead film terrorized him and made him question ever looking under the bed or in a closet at night! Sure, Joss was 25 years old when this movie came out, but that doesn’t change the level of trauma he received from this movie. Get ready to hear Joss talk about his upbringing, his family, and his experiences working with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Paul Reubens.

On a very special minisode, Gabe asks Andy an important question, does Interstellar suck?! This 2014, Christopher Nolan, science fiction epic is pretty universally loved, but Gabe wonders if that shouldn’t be the case. Maybe interstellar is misremembered as some great film. In this Steve Spielberg directed film we’re taken away to Amity Island, a beach town that is just trying to celebrate a 4th of July weekend without too many people dying. When the shark-attacked remains of a skinny dipper are found - well, mostly found - it’s up to Police Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider), Oceanographer Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and expert Shark Hunter/Local Nutjob Quint (Robert Shaw) to track down this maneater. What could possibly go wrong, especially after sharing some hard drinks and harder stories? Our guest, Mike shares his own stories of going to the beaches of New England and how this movie has impacted his relationship with the ocean and swimming in general. This is a chum packed episode and you’re definitely gonna need a bigger boat to devour the whole thing!

This week the boys are ready to tackle a movie that has divided our nostalgic community: Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers. Gabe has some feelings about this movie and felt like this movie was too much of a bummer. Andy on the other hand felt like it was a fun adventure. Let the debate begin.

This David Croneberg film stars Jeff Goldblum as Seth Brundle, a scientist hell bent on realizing his life dream of making teleportation a reality, no matter how many monkeys he needs to explode. Geena Davis, plays Veronica Qualife, a reporter at Super Fun Science Magazine, who’s looking for her next big topic, and Mr Brundle is ready to give it to her. What follows is an insane story that taught Andy that death, no matter how tragic and sad, is a necessary part of life. Come for the vomit covered limbs, stay for the existential dread.

Does this movie make any sense? No! But that didn’t stop it from traumatizing a young and impressionable Andy. We hope you’re ready to jack in, because this one is a major head case.
