• Today could be the day we find out who Kamala Harris selects as her running mate. She is scheduled to make her first appearance with her pick tomorrow in Philly at Temple University, fueling speculation that Gov. Josh Shapiro could be her pick. This will be the first stop in a campaign blitz to different battleground states, and The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Donald Trump's running mate, JD Vance, will also be in town Tuesday in South Philly. 
• So, will Shapiro be Harris' running mate? The suspense has been building, especially since Friday when Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker posted on X backing Shapiro as VP.
• Bike safety advocates joined the friends and family of Mario D’Adamo III on Sunday to honor him with a memorial bike ride, marking a full year since his death. They gathered solemnly in FDR Park, where a hit-and-run driver killed the 37-year-old.
• A beloved Ursinus College coach is searching for a kidney donor, and the Collegeville community is rallying behind him.
