Who's That Anime?

Well folks, thanks for joining us on our return to Cowboy Bebop after a little bit of an unexpected break to talk Pokémon!

Join us this week as we talk about how Lucozade isn't as good as it used to be, Steve's shaky understanding of anime in general, and just how good the humour in Cowboy Bebop is!

Back for the 2nd instalment of Cowboy Bebop, and there's a lot to talk about!

Join us this week as we talk about the ancient history of the internet, the PUBG Universe and, the book/movie, Sphere! And as promised during the episode, here are a bunch of links to the stuff we got side-tracked talking about (Steve...Steve got side-tracked with).

Welcome to season 5 of Who's That Anime?!

With the new Netflix live action adaption of Cowboy Bebop on the horizon, how could we say no to watching the original show in all of its glory? Colin hasn't watched it in years, and Steve has never seen it! There seems like no better time than the present!

Join us for the first episode of season 5 as we discuss Squid Game, Regular Show, and bad pronunciation of Japanese!

SPOILER ALERT

We're used to talking a lot about shows and movies that are at least almost a decade old, but for once we covered something that only came out last year! If you want to watch Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop without spoilers, we advise waiting to listen to our latest bonus episode.

With that being said, here we are! Lain is just a fading image in our rear-view mirror (minus the trauma) and we take our usual week off before the start of a new season to enjoy a palate cleanser. This week we went with the "Netflix Original", Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop. A movie so wholesome and full of haiku you'll be confused about why you're watching it!

Join us this week as we discuss the history of operating systems for PCs, dentistry, the fact that Steve really likes the 2006 movie The Fountain, and the origins of CGI in cinema.

It's hard to believe it, but we're at the end of season four of the podcast. Admittedly, maybe we should have considered the impact of watching Haruhi and Lain back to back, but it's too late now and we've maximized our existential dread.

As with our previous episodes that make us question the fabric of our very own reality, this episode pushes in on that two hour mark, so buckle up! Join us this week as we finish our discussions on Serial Experiments Lain. We're talking conspiracies, The Matrix, where we're headed next, and our convoluted theories about what this show actually means.

Mixing exhausted hosts with an increasing atmosphere of confusion is maybe not the best thing to do, and yet, here we are...doing that.

Join us this week as we talk about local television reception in Scotland, the Canadian TV sensation of the 1980's, The Raccoons, and eventually we get around to discussing Lain. Eventually!

It's been a long time since confusion has been the default mental state we've had while watching a show, but Lain is taking us there in style. No idea what's going on yet? That's okay! Neither do we!

Join us this week as we talk about lots of different anime that aren't the ones we're supposed to be talking about, and our current theories about what's happening!

Thank goodness we took that break to watch Di Gi Charat before we started watching Lain! It's starting to get weird, and it's likely to only get weirder!

Join us this week as we talk about Colin's inability to be on time, other anime, and try to wrap our minds around what is actually happening.
