St. Louis is known for a quite a few things. Some of these things are very visible, while others are not quite as visible and go unnoticed.

One of the aspects of St. Louis that is very visible, and often gets taken for granted, is the red brick architecture you see all over the area. If you are someone who has always been fascinated with the red brick all over St. Louis, you will love the documentary called "Brick by Chance and Fortune" created by my guest for this episode, Bill Streeter of Hydraulic Pictures.

Have a listen as we talk about how Bill got into film making, why he decided to primarily focus on documentaries in particular, equipment choices and the current state of live streaming services such as Periscope and Meerkat. It is not always easy to find someone who does not like pizza. It is also not always easy to find someone who truly likes frozen pizza.

On this episode, you will learn more about the frozen pizza that will make you glad that you took the time to "Give frozen pizza another bake!".

My guest for this episode is Rick Schaper who, along with his wife Meredith, started what is now known as Dogtown Pizza. This St. Louis based frozen pizza company started in the kitchen of the Schapers home located in the Dogtown area of St. Louis.

The company has grown from making a few dozen in their kitchen to needing a daily supply of nearly 3,000 fresh pizza crust brought in from Vitale's Bakery from "The Hill".

Make sure to give Dogtown Pizza a shot the next time you are in your local St. Louis area grocer, and if they do not carry it, make sure to ask the manager to start carrying it.

You will not look at frozen pizza the same way again.

Did you know that St. Louis was nearly the second location for a Walt Disney theme park? In 1963-1965, Walt Disney was in discussion with St. Louis officials about creating an indoor theme park to be called Riverfront Square.

Sadly a deal could not be finalized and Disney then turned his attention towards Florida and Disney World was created.

Steven has been catching the eyes of many with some of his recent artwork that is not only available in 2D, but also in 3D! These works of art look fantastic to the naked eye, but put on a pair of 3D glasses and you have to see the difference to believe it.

The majority of his subjects have consisted of local St. Louis sports figures such as Ozzie Smith, Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina, but he also delves into other forms of popular culture with Star Wars and superheroes such as Superman and Batman.

We start our interview talking about him being a Priory graduate and a little comparison between private and public schools and some of the other very well known St. Louisians who have gone through the St. Louis public school system of which his father was a board member of the St. Louis Board of Education for 28 years.

We then move into discussing how the Saint Louis Brewery came to be as well as how he met his co-founder Dan Kopman.

Did you know that the St. Louis Gateway Arch is not only the tallest memorial in the United States, but also the tallest stainless steel monument in the world? It measures 630 feet tall, and 630 feet wide from the center of one leg to the center of the other.

Travis, who is originally from the Fresno California area is known in the St. Louis area as someone who is always looking to get involved with trying to make things better.

Have a listen to hear about Travis selling landscaping rocks from a wagon with a friend as a child, then he shares a story in which you would not be too surprised if he had been charged with multiple felonies as a teen.

He then discusses what led him to St. Louis and how he became involved in GlobalHack with Gabe Lozano and Drew Winship and also how he came to be in his current position.
