This week we’ve seen that there’s only one race and that we look different because of the genetic diversity God built into DNA at the beginning. But why are there different people groups?
Well, after the global flood Noah and his family were told to spread out of the earth. Noah’s descendants decided to stay together and build a city and tower. So, God judged their sin by confusing their languages, forcing them to spread out. This divided up the human population, giving rise to different people groups and cultures. But there’s still only one race as everyone traces their ancestry from Babel to Noah and back to the first man, Adam.
