Greetings all! Hope everyone is doing well and having a good week. This week's episode is my wonderful friend Allison who is joining us to tell her story of addiction. Allison and I go all the way back to my very first meeting. She, shortly after us meeting, reached her 6 months of sobriety, and was such an inspiration and friend during my early sobriety. I hope you all enjoy her story.

On this week's episode my friend Melissa is joining me to share her story of addiction and sobriety. Melissa and I have know each other since my first sobriety community and earliest days of recovery, so I often look at Melissa kind of like an older sister, although I'm pretty sure I am older. Anyways, she has an amazing story, as everyone does, and it was such a pleasure to record her story. Hope you enjoy!
On this week's episode I am thrilled to be joined by my friend Robinson. I met Robinson early last year when I got a new job. He and I get to work with each other often, and he's helped me get comfortable and adjusted to my new position. When we discovered we were both in sobriety, that just added an additional layer of support in our relationship. Robinson also has been a huge supporter of me starting the podcast, so it only makes sense he is my first guest. I hope you enjoy!
If you would like to come on and tell your story, or you have questions or need support, please reach out to me either on my website, www.whyareyousober.org, or via email at [email protected].
Greetings all! Welcome and thank you for listening to the first episode of Why Are You Sober? This is my own story of growing up, issues I faced, how I didn't cope with things, and eventually began using alcohol and discovering I am an alcoholic. I discuss when I stopped drinking, how I got sober, and then why I choose to continue with my program of recovery.
If you would like to come on and tell your own story you can get in touch with me at whyareyousober.org or [email protected]. I hope we can continue to spread some experience-strength-and-hope to others both in recovery and hoping to get sober.
Blessings
