Why wasn't Count Dooku at his own Apprentice's funeral? Qui-Gon Jinn died at the hands of Darth Maul who was trained by Palpatine / Darth Sidious. It would have made sense for him to be in Episode 1, at the very least, at the funeral with Obi-Wan and Anakin.
