The early passages of Mosiah appear to often employ wordplays on King Benjamin’s name, a name which is traditionally thought to mean “son of the right hand.” This definition helps to explain the focus on children in the early chapters of the book of Mosiah, King Benjamin’s discussion of spiritual rebirth, and being enthroned at Gods’ right hand. In this speech King Benjamin used wordplay and quotations from the plates of brass to teach that the Israelite king, and his own people, were now enthroned at the Lord’s right hand.
