Welcome to week 2 of the quarantine brought on by a global pandemic. The Allen Club is equally as preoccupied by the chaos & they discuss their concerns. But, some other pressing matters arose the weekend in the form of Joe Exotic. They discuss the Tiger King miniseries on Netflix and the colorful characters involved in the big cat world (heads up-they hate these people!). Enjoy some Joe Exotic analysis and another performance by Cash to close out the episode. Don't forget to subscribe to the show!
Like all of you, The Allen Club is locked down as a result of Coronavirus. The kids join in and tell some stories & practices they learned at school regarding this miserable ass disease. We also find out what Roxie decided to tell her guidance counselor this week. Hint; it's about her parents. To stay distracted, the family discussion turns towards movies, informal polls on favorite AEW roster members, and what the teens think of Bernie Sanders. Hang around for a special surprise at the end of this episode! Join in and take your mind off of shit for awhile.
Home renovations are underway and spring activities are upon the Allen House. Amidst a busy week, a new mystery is solved regarding Cash & friends unusual commitment to their track team this year. Wes lays out the evidence he's uncovered and it's all connected to one major component: Puberty.
Wes allows an eyesore in his neighbor's yard to lead him down a dark path where he questions himself, his views, and whether he's a shallow person who wouldn't date someone missing a limb. We also learn about Ashley's plans to not have to see said neighbors while also saving the planet. Oh, and Cash makes an appearance where it's discovered he's an anime pervert.
After a chaotic day, Wes & Ashley decide to record an episode with their children, Cash & Roxie, and regret it almost immediately. The kids answer Twitter and Instagram questions from listeners while doing their absolute best to sabotage the show. Did they succeed? Did mom and dad give in? Did anyone survive?! You'll have to listen and find out!
