It’s been a bumpy road to the live action remake of Disney's oldest princess story - Snow White. Reinventing the princess with a Latina actress and a new twist on the problematic seven dwarves has led to backlashes and controversies galore. 

Which makes us wonder, is it even worth trying to revive an outdated fairytale?
