When you build an audience online in a hobby community, it can be really stressful to speak out on controversial important topics. I'm solo today, reflecting on a recent experience speaking out, and why I haven't always in the past. My goal is to seek balance, while acknowledging the privilege I have. It's not an easy conversation, but a necessary one, especially now.
