Guest Bio:
Madeline is the President & Owner of Madeline Maldonado, LCSW Consulting P.C., and is an adjunct professor and field advisor at Fordham University’s MSW Program. Madeline has over 20 years of experience in program administration, clinical supervision, professional training, and psychotherapy.
She also specializes in autism evaluations for children and adolescents. Madeline was featured in the first episode of the Latinx in Social Work Podcast and in the Beauteous Me Podcast segment “Mental Health in the Latinx Community”. She has co-authored the book “Latinx in Social Work- Stories that Heal, Inspire and Connect Communities” which received an honorable mention at the 24th International Latino Book Awards.
Madeline has a Master’s Degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hunter College of CUNY. She is bilingual in Spanish. Madeline is in the process of opening a clinical mental health practice in the Bronx, NY (Jan ‘23) which will provide psychotherapy for Latino and African American children and families and autism evaluation services.
