Why did Obi-Wan Kenobi train Luke Skywalker earlier? I believe if he had gone with his gut instinct and ignored the nay sayers, we would have a completely different timeline. A much stronger Luke would have grown and his accomplishments would have been far superior to what we saw in Return of the Jedi. Obi-Wan would probably have gone to see Yoda in the flesh, and the events would take a different turn, for sure. What do you think? Should he have listened to Owen? Or ignored him and done what he felt was right to train the boy?
