Psychiatrists in Australia are walking away from the job at a time when our country seems to need them most.

1 in 4 government psychiatrist positions are empty, meaning patients are being pushed out of care before they are ready.

Brett Emmerson is the Chair of the Queensland branch of the RANZCP. He joins John to talk about the problem, and what needs to change to keep psychiatrists in the job.
