Stand Against the Breakdown of American Freedom; Is U.S. Media Eating China’s Lunch?

The Senate China bill is being widely criticized for being too weak—for not really addressing the global threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Thus, Senator Josh Hawley’s proposed amendments would see information on the origin of the coronavirus declassified. They would also add a duty of 100 percent on goods from Xinjiang, in response to the use of Uyghur slave labor there.

I spoke to national security commentator and publisher of the Journal of Political Risk, Dr Anders Corr, about why America’s China policies are so full of holes. He points to politicians, media and lobbyists with vested interests in not holding China to account. 

“There's not a lot of effort behind putting ….any kind of new legislation on this through, in a sense, because the fox is guarding the chicken coop. When they [politicians] leave office, they want the option of becoming….high paid lobbyists, they can make millions of dollars a year…That creates an almost…permanent swamp in Washington that's very hard to get rid of. —Anders Corr

Media, Lobbyists, Politicians Block Tough-on-China Laws; Lab-Leak Theory Gains Traction

In China and the Soviet Union ‘dissidents’ were disappeared or imprisoned; here, in ‘our cultural revolution,’ people are “losing their jobs, losing positions, losing social standing,” says NYU Professor Michael Rectenwald (Rtd.)

The ‘American Scholars’ education platform is designed to counter this ‘woke,’ ‘cancel culture’ that is taking hold in American education. Rectenwald is its chief academic officer.

Meanwhile, a school choice movement aimed at serving Minnesota’s black community is also countering the idea that America is a racist nation.

“The people that helped me along the way were white and black, rich and poor, male and female. Americans help each other. They don't put a filter on it,” says its founder Kendall Qualls.

Hundreds of academics, including big names, have applied to join ‘American Scholars.’—which is promising American values-based education, and “better bang for your buck” than establishment colleges.

Critical race theory is simply a proxy for socialism… It converts Marxist class antagonism into racial antagonism, says Prof. Rectenwald.

“Most people don't realize in the United States in the early 1920s, we had significant depression. The headline numbers were just as bad as [what] you saw in 1930. “You know, right now, the US economy is like a heroin addict. They're just addicted to monetary heroin,” says Gammon.

Influencer-Economist Sues the FED; U.S. Economy is Addicted to the FED’s False Cash Injections

In the same breath as talking about the terrorist threats of ISIS and Al Qaeda, Joe Biden emphasized “the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland”  allegedly posed by white supremacists, in his first address to Congress.

Yet, there was no mention of the arson, vandalism and looting that occurred following the death of George Floyd, with damages estimated in the billions of dollars; this is to say nothing of the loss of life that occurred.

Senator Tim Scott rebutted the notion of an America plagued by systemic racism:

"Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It's backwards to fight discrimination with different discrimination. And it's wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present."

In a twisted irony, he was heavily attacked with racial slurs on social media, including by fellow politicians.

Former State Rep, Vernon Jones made a drastic career shift based on his views on politics of race.

What’s happening now in Maricopa County, Arizona, is the first full forensic audit of the 2020 election.  Democrat’s have labored fiercely to stop this from the beginning.

This could be because if the results show significant interference in the election, it could lead to prosecutions at the state and/or federal levels.
