The WiLBuR Radio - LebTown Candidates Night Forum, April 23, 2025, featuring Republican Mayoral Candidates Sherry Capello, Damian Vargas, and Sharon Zook.  Capello is the 4-term incumbent Mayor, Vargas is a Cafe Owner in Lebanon, and Zook is a Cabinet Designer who is waging a write-in campaign.

A group of concerned Lebanon County citizens (mostly Democrats) are holding "Mondays with Meuser" rallies from 12-1pm each Monday in front of the Lebanon County Courthouse at 400 S. 8th Street in Lebanon, to insist that 9th District Congressman Dan Meuser meet in-person with them in a town hall-style setting.  They've got concerns and they want Meuser to take note!

4-term incumbent Mayor Sherry Capello announced her reelection bid for an unprecedented 5th term in office.  Since the City of Lebanon went to a "strong mayor" form of government, Capello is the longest-serving mayor in the city's history.  She says she's done a lot, but there's more she'd like to achieve.  The Primary election is set for Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Many people have heard of Sharon Zook, but likely not as a political candidate.  Although she previously ran unsuccessfully for County Commissioner, Zook is better known as a community activist.  Still, she says she's ready to deal with some of the issues bringing the City down, such as nuisance businesses and slumlords.

Are & Be Cafe owner Damian Vargas wants to be Mayor of the City of Lebanon.  The young entrepreneur says he's willing to work his tail off to learn the ropes of all the duties a mayor has.  His goal is to lift up Lebanon's people and be a true servant-leader.  He's running on the Republican ballot in the May 20, 2025 Primary election.

The Talk of the Town Newsmaker Interview of March 7, 2025 featured Pier Hess Graf, who is seeking the GOP nomination in her reelection bid for a second term as Lebanon County District Attorney.  She was appointed to the role after former DA Dave Arnold was elected to the PA Senate in 2020, then won election outright in November, 2021, with her swearing-in as the elected DA in January, 2022.   

Graf discusses her reasons for becoming a prosecutor, her track record while at the helm of the office, and why she wants another term as Lebanon County's chief law enforcement official.
