Will they or won't they legalize Skill Games?  That's now the definitive question for members of the PA General Assembly, with Monday's ruling by the PA Supreme Court that declared Skill Games in the Commonwealth as illegal slot machines.  Now, state house and senate members must either come up with a regulatory framework for them, or do nothing and let the issue lapse past the 120 day deadline imposed by the high court.  State Senator Chris Gebhard has been one of the leaders in the Senate, working to figure out what to do with Skill Games.  In this exclusive interview recorded a few hours after the ruling came down, Gebhard shares his thought on the ruling, and what lies ahead.

Members of the local media met with Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf after the plea hearings held June 2, 2026 for the trio of gunmen who killed 19-year old Joshua Lugo-Perez, 9-year old Sebastian Perez-Salome and 8-year old Jesus Perez-Salome on May 30, 2023.  The victims were sitting on the back porch of their north-side Lebanon City apartment, as the two young boys played with a kitten.  30-year old Ivan Claudio-Rosero and 25-year old Alex Torres-Santos each pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal homicide (no degree specified) while 19-year old James Fernandez-Reyes pleaded guilty to three counts of 1st Degree Criminal Homicide.  Life in prison without parole or the death penalty are possible sentences for the two older men, while life in prison with the possibility of parole confronts Fernandez-Reyes, the teenaged killer.

It's become an issue that 48th District Republican State Senate challenger Clovis Crane has had to confront during his primary campaign:  a horrendous accident he caused in Illinois, after falling asleep behind the wheel of his truck.  The crash severely injured several members of the Link family, leaving Carla Link wheelchair-bound and in significant pain.  An $11M civil judgment some years later has gone unpaid, although Crane says he settled the accident privately with the Link family.
