The Year was 2017, when a Northern Lebanon High School Senior named Liz Voight was named Lebanon Area Fair Queen.  From there, she went on to compete in the PA State Fair Queen contest in January, 2018 and won!  That began a love of pageantry and competing, and now Liz is the reigning Miss Pennsylvania USA, hoping to win the Miss USA contest in August, 2026 in Miami.  Hear about the journey she's been on - both personally and professionally - which began in the North Hall at the Lebanon Area Fair!

The 2026 Lebanon Area Fair Queen is Chelsie Bomgardner, who will be a Senior at Northern Lebanon High School this fall.  She competed against 4 other very well-qualified young women for the crown this year.  Here, she meets the local media just minutes after winning the pageant.

In an exclusive interview with radioNOVO News conducted Thursday morning, 7/23/26, Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf discusses what she encountered upon visiting the "home" that a 5-year old, non-verbal boy escaped from during the early morning hours of July 10th.  While the naked child, clutching a urine soaked blanket, was miraculously found uninjured by good Samaritans along a busy Lebanon County roadway, his discovery has now resulted in serious criminal charges for his 21-year old mother, 42-year old grandmother, and a 21-year old paramour of another resident of the filthy, cluttered Swatara Township "house from hell" from which he broke free.

The Lebanon County NAACP, in partnership with the Lebanon County America250 Planning Committee, present "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?"........... a community oration that will be read on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Lebanon County Semiquincentennial Celebration.  

Community members will present the lengthy speech, first delivered on July 5, 1852 by Frederick Douglass, inside the Brightbill Arena at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center & Fairgrounds, Cornwall and Rocherty Roads in North Cornwall Township,  from 4-6pm.  

The daylong celebration of America's 250th Anniversary is free and open to the public.
