For 81 years straight, Lorraine Koons has voted in every election in Lebanon County for which she was eligible.  That's every presidential and municipal election since Franklin D. Roosevelt's 4th time running for President!  After moving to the Lebanon Valley Home 4 years ago, Koons lost the first Certificate of Recognition she had been given for her perfect voting record.  So she asked Lebanon County Elections Director Sean Drasher for a replacement.  The former WWII "Rosie the Riveter" discusses her long life and devotion to voting.

Get all the details about this year's Umbrella Walk, in honor of slain Lebanon Police Lt. William D. Lebo on March 31, 2025.  That date is the 3rd Anniversary of his End of Watch, the day he was killed in 2022 in the line of duty during a home invasion/burglary on Lebanon's north-side.

A group of concerned Lebanon County citizens (mostly Democrats) are holding "Mondays with Meuser" rallies from 12-1pm each Monday in front of the Lebanon County Courthouse at 400 S. 8th Street in Lebanon, to insist that 9th District Congressman Dan Meuser meet in-person with them in a town hall-style setting.  They've got concerns and they want Meuser to take note!

Do you need to get a passport for some upcoming travel?  How about a name change document if you're recently married, or divorced?  Would you like to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon?  The Lebanon County Courthouse will be open this Saturday, so you don't have to take off work to get those issues, and others, accomplished!

4-term incumbent Mayor Sherry Capello announced her reelection bid for an unprecedented 5th term in office.  Since the City of Lebanon went to a "strong mayor" form of government, Capello is the longest-serving mayor in the city's history.  She says she's done a lot, but there's more she'd like to achieve.  The Primary election is set for Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Many people have heard of Sharon Zook, but likely not as a political candidate.  Although she previously ran unsuccessfully for County Commissioner, Zook is better known as a community activist.  Still, she says she's ready to deal with some of the issues bringing the City down, such as nuisance businesses and slumlords.
