Followers, likes, comments are something we constantly see every day on social media, and believe it or not those numbers affect the way we value things without even realizing it. The truth is those are just vanity metrics yet they seem to matter more than the actionable metrics for most.

When we hear the word "branding" it might not mean so much to us as a customer, but when we deep dive into it we realize how many of our daily decisions when it comes to purchasing are directly influenced by branding. Some might disagree with this hence this is the episode for you to listen to.

I feel like we are in this era of desensitization acting like we don't care because we are not required to. Doesn't that sound so wrong? There's nothing attractive about not caring. I mean yeah, it might help us pretend that our hearts aren't broken when we don't get what we want, but not caring is not something to be proud of.

We all say that sometimes ugh I don't have time for this and that, but the truth is we are not prioritizing what is important and what is secondary in order to make time for pretty much everything. This is where the delegation comes in. If you delegate your responsibilities or tasks right, you will have time for the things that you are truly passionate about.

At one point in our career mentorship is something we might think about. It's not because we are helpless or anything, but because sometimes we don't really know what we are doing. We think maybe having a mentor might be the answer, but the truth is no one knows your business better than you do.

The way that society portrays perfection or at least striving for perfection makes it seem like it is such a good thing. When you look deeper you realize how messed up and unhealthy this route is. Perfectionism is not the same thing as great results because the reality is most of the time perfectionism is what sets us back from our goals.

Unfortunately having a business is not like a one-time business proposal or project that you could do and hope that the product or the line you created keeps selling and being talked about like it used to. Time's have changed and so have customers' behaviors. Recent examples include Kylie Cosmetics relaunch, KKW Beauty closure, and Instagram CEO's new announcement about the future of the app.
