Wild Police Interrogation of a Savage Lady of the Orlando Streets

On February 7, 2017, at about 5:10 pm, a fight broke out between Kaitlyn Beth Garrett and the victim in this case at a Citgo gas station, in the somewhat shady area of South Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida. As a result of the incident, Garrett was charged with aggravated assault. At the time this happened, Kaitlyn’s husband, Dominique Garrett, was in jail.

So the smart protagonist in this story, Kaitlyn, later that evening, at about 8:30 pm, decided to call her husband in jail – on a recorded line – and tell him about what she had done. During the recorded conversation, Kaitlyn admitted pointing a gun at the victim’s head intentionally and pointing the trigger in an attempt to kill her. Kaitlyn told her husband that the gun malfunctioned and that is why she was not able to carry out the murder.

About a week later, on February 15, 2017, at almost 11 pm, Orange County law enforcement officers made contact with Kaitlyn in the same area of town. She was arrested and taken to an interrogation room, to be interrogated by Orange County night investigations Detectives.
