Welcome back to the Wild Simplicity Podcast. In this episode I share some musings on some of what I've been up to over the past few weeks. Ponderings around phone usage, hundreds of people in my bedroom (!), consumption, connection with my kids, crafting and creating (away from technology), meditation, grounding, and more.

In this episode I give you my practical tips for reducing how much outside influence we allow in and how to dodge the distractions. We are bombarded everyday with so many nudges to need more, want more and buy more. Bringing these outside influences into our conscious awareness can help us find discernment for what works for us and our own life and what we allow in.

This episode is all about the process of simplifying and letting go and how it's not a linear process. It's a process of spiralling deeper and deeper into ourselves as we gain more clarity of what it is we want in life, what we want our life to look like, and how we want to feel. Our outer world is a reflection of our inner world and decluttering our physical belongings can be a catalyst for a deeper letting go and transformation of our whole life.

In this episode I share a visual that recently came to me which represents the restriction I have felt in my life from being hooked into all the ideals and expectations that society and others have of me, and then the freedom I have experienced from unhooking (often repeatedly!) from these societal, cultural and familial expectations and limitations. I would love to know what you have been unhooking from in your life and what visual (or sound or feeling or smell or taste!) represents freedom to you.

This week's episode is all about unspoken words and how the unspoken words that are kept inside of us can make us feel, the effect that this suppression of words can have on our mind, body and soul, and some ways we can start to set some of these words free in ways that feel safe and protective for us.

In this week's episode I divulge the exciting revelation of what was in 'the mystery letter' from Episode 3 and I share some parenting tools I've implemented over the past few weeks as a result of a sense of increasing rage and resentment. There's also a reminder to have some fun and play amidst all that goes on in our lives :)
