I invited Anna Day onto the podcast because she became a solo parent to her son when he was 8 months old, fleeing domestic violence and was then faced with homelessness and caring for her son who has complex needs.
With all that going on, she decided to become a charity CEO. 12 months later she became a CEO for the first time, and later even went on to become CEO of a homeless charity. She is a Global Womens Leadership Fellow, a School for Social Entrepreneurs Fellow and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce. She has raised over £24m for charities during my time in the charity sector & led 4 charities as CEO, and I’m very grateful she has agreed to join me to have a conversation that we hope will help those who who think they need to step away from their career now they have to work part time and instead help them plan work on their own terms and see it's possible.
You can find Anna's business at successfulcoaching.co.uk , or connect with her on Linked In- she’s Anna F Day.
