   From gunshots in the Congo to a refugee camp in Kenya’s scorching north – this episode of WildernessConversations takes us on a raw, unforgettable journey. Martha Sales, writing under the pseudonym Anna Tikva brings the story to life in Held in His Hands. We join Atembo and Kiza, the real men behind this latest novel, as they recount fleeing rebel soldiers, escaping government military camps, and crossing borders with nothing but the clothes on their backs. These two brothers called Kakuma Refugee Camp home for many years, but despite the harsh conditions are thankful for the experience as it brought them to Christ. The camp is located in the remote Turkana County of northwestern Kenya, currently houses over 300,000 refugees and asylum seekers from more than 25 countries. In the Forward of the book “Held in His Hands” written by Brother Jason Hensley of the Simi Hills Ecclesia, California, we are told: Anna Tikvah has taken the real-life story (with some artistic license) of two Christadelphian young people. By telling this story, she allows us to step back from our myopic visions of our own lives, with all of our distractions, and to see God at work. It is a story of two young men forced to flee the brutal crossfire of a war-torn homeland. The two young refugees endure the terrors of abduction and betrayal before seeking refuge behind the desolate gates of the Kakuma Refugee Camp.    Graeme Shugg lives in Adelaide, Australia and attends the Christadelphian Church or ecclesia that meets at Salisbury. Graeme is the author of a book published by the Christadelphian Scripture Study Service based on the life of King Hezekiah. Graeme joined us in episode “105 Asa The Healer” and he joins us again to share his passion for the life of one of Judah’s most extraordinary kings. Graeme presents a biblical study of King Hezekiah, arguing that he stands as the second greatest type of Christ after Joseph. The discussion unveils Hezekiah’s extraordinary life, from surviving child sacrifice under his apostate father King Ahaz to becoming the king who “trusted in the Lord God of Israel” like no other.
