Teachers' unions are defending their calls to delay the introduction of the Leaving Cert Reform.
It comes after the Ombudsman for Children raised concerns over any pause to the roll-out of changes, which includes the introduction of projects for every exam subject.
Dr. Niall Muldoon is warning delays could put students in a position to miss out on the best possible opportunities.
