This year the Fourth of July seemed different.  There seemed to be less enthusiasm for it and a few more people saying some negative things about it because of recent news stories.  I did some digging and I think in this episode you will appreciate not only some good content but some good history that may inspire you to be more inspired to celebrate the Fourth of July.  How did our founding fathers really feel about slavery and abortion.  A reading of the Declaration of Independence with some explanation to understand it better and make it more appreciated.  And finally, which founding father did not sign the Constitution and why?  There is a lot of information in this segment that connects a lot of dots during that time I found to be very interesting.

My Thoughts on the Roe V Wade Decision and some bonus segments.  People are arguing over the Roe V Wade decision in the exact way they argued over the law itself, through the narratives.  In this podcast I attempt to look beyond the narrative to talk about some things I don't think are being mentioned.  And in my bonus segments you will hear a letter from Christopher Columbus that I think will show another side of him.  And in another segment you might be surprised who the first President of the United States was... It's not who you think.

Thomas Pressly, Louisiana State Representative has district 6, which represents Bossier and Caddo Parishes around  Shreveport, Louisiana.  A couple of his bills got through quick and were quickly signed by the Governor.  

C. Travis Johnson, Louisiana State Representative has district 21. He is known in his district as someone who represents his district well and has a love for agriculture and the attention it needs in his district. He works with other members of the legislature not only for the needs of his district but for the needs they have, especially when it comes to agriculture. This interview will give you a very good feel for him and his legislation.
