Donavon LeNabat is a Toronto-based Piano Entertainer, choir director, and live streamer.
Donavon has been performing at the professional level for 20 years, and enjoys a wide variety of musical interests. He is a classically trained pianist, who went to school for jazz, and then ended up working in Musical Theatre, the whole while playing pop music and top 40 hits, entertaining at piano bars and playing in various corporate/wedding bands.
The past two years has seen Donavon Live Streaming for most of his work. It’s been a great way to engage a new audience and continue to refine his skill set. In addition to performing for the internet, Donavon has also managed to keep his own community choir engaged by creating a number of Virtual Choir Videos. (http://AltVox.ca)
Donavon is excited to get back to “normal”, and play live, in-person shows again!”
Various projects Donavon is involved in:
In-Home Concert Series: Every Sunday, he’s been inviting people over to perform a 60-90 minute cabaret/concert, which is live streamed to Facebook/YouTube. (It’s free, but tips are always accepted from the online audience)
In-Home Open Mic nights: 10-12 people come over to Donavon’s house every week and sing around the piano, which is live streamed to Facebook/YouTube.
Alt Vox (http://AltVox.ca) end-of-season concert on June 11: In-person rock choir concert with 5-piece band. ~300 seats available, but will also be live streaming the event. Tickets will go on sale soon.
