On todays epsiode we had to record virtually again with the rise of omicron. We really needed to talk about anything that would make us happy so we picked 2000’s fashion naturally. Low rise jeans were the winner of the 2000’s fashion, or the loser who’s to say. They really were very problematic reshaping all of our bodies in a very not cute way.

We also touch on Ugg boots, thin scarves, old navy flip flops, frosted tips and chunky highlights just to name a few. If we could bring back any of these trends, there really isn’t too many good ones. The sequined satchel bag was a fave, and some of the awesome shoes like Reeboks, FUBU, and the platform flip-flops. We talk about how old we were when we first got ours and how we hate how periods are looked at as “disgusting”. So many girls hide tampons up their sleeve and go to the bathroom or if a boy finds an unused pad they make fun of the person who has it . So we wish that would stop.

We currently both do not have our periods due to birth control and we talk about where we would like to go with our periods one day. Maybe get them back and actually figure them out and how our bodies work with them.

When we were in our early twenties we were able to stay up all night simply to get laid and get hammered and successfully go to work the next day. Today we could never. Margaret often finds herself asleep by 7 pm these days.

When we were younger we also made a lot less money, so we had to figure out ways to maximize the small amounts of money we had and today we’re way too lazy and will 100% buy a $40 uber to get home. 21 year old us could never.

Margaret actually made a rule that every year she had to have a crush on someone in her class. Even when there was no cute boys in the class she would still end up picking someone. Martha didn’t fall in love with anyone until 4th grade due to her childhood drama that she started. But Margaret started picking out boys real young in kindergarten.

we would also like to get rid of the saying, “if he’s mean to you, he must like you”! Because that’s problematic and we shouldn’t raise our children to be that way. The amount of crushes we had from the mean people is not okay.
