You won't want to miss the criminally negligent ninja turtle, brain roller coaster, or Cora losing all her toys and room decor in one fell swoop! This anti-drug propaganda is pretty absurd, hilarious, and insulting to all our intelligence, but that doesn't mean drugs never cause any problems. If you want to change your relationship to a drug, and are struggling to, it's ok! Talk to someone you trust, and ultimately, consult a medical professional with experience in addiction. There are lots of great options out there to help you live a healthier, happier life.

Buckle up! It's part one of our first ever two-parter! OF COURSE we have a lot to say about this president-approved, corporation-cooperation fueled anti-drug propaganda piece from the late '80's/early '90's! Like, how very punk we are, and how Frosty the Snowman is probably about crack!
This shit is wildly hilarious, but also we have to talk about how much fucking money went into teaching everyone that drugs are evil incarnate, and how that allowed the state to get away with locking up (mostly black and brown and/or poor) people for non-violent crimes for DECADES. The war on drugs did SO much harm, and propaganda pieces like this video were a huge part of it. Fuck that, and fuck Bush Sr, and his wife (who may or may not be named Barbara). Laugh your ass off with us, but afterward, make sure you're fighting for the end of prohibition, prison reform, police abolition, and reparations.
