Winning Losers

We start this week discussing how fans have returned mostly to full capacity, and have been out of control. We continue with the NBA playoffs, and the Knicks being disappointments. In the NHL the Bruins have looked great, but they’re not the only ones. In Baseball, the big story this week was Marcell Ozuna’s arrest. We also cover the continuing Julio Jones story and a Brady/ Phil Michelson vs. Rodgers/ Bryson DeChambeau golf match. We discuss the schedules of our favorite teams, including the Patriots, Eagles, Bucs, and Titans. We also discuss where the Patriots vs. Bucs week 4 game is the most anticipated regular season game of all time throughout all sports. We also have the Oakland A’s potentially moving, the NBA play-in games, NBA Hall of Fame, and NHL playoffs are set. We also discuss Bob Baffert diving deep into his bag of excuses to defend Medina Spirit, and the NCAA continues to be stupid, this time with women’s golf. Fails this week include animals on the loose, more Zoom issues, and horny politicians. We also discuss the Bruins’ biggest draft failure, Gord Kluzak, and jobs we’d like that involve Sports.

We start with the ongoing Aaron Rodgers saga, and Patriots are losing a key piece to their dynasty, with Ernie Adams retirement. In the NBA, many people are complaining about the play-in games for the playoffs, most recently LeBron. We also discuss some coaches on the hot seat. In the NHL the big story was Tom Wilson, and everything that followed after his game against the Rangers. In the MLB this week we had two no-hitters, and Albert Pujols was released. Fails this week include a giant squid statue and eating raw rotten meat. We also discuss Roy Hibbert, not one of our traditional failed athletes, but he definitely failed to live up to our perception of him. We also end this week with a debate question.

We give our thoughts on the NFL draft, including best draft classes, and best and worst picks. We also discuss the developing Aaron Rodgers situation, and a few other stories around the league. The Celtics had a great comeback, led by 60 points from Jayson Tatum, and everyone missed it because it was at the same time as the draft. There were also some significant players returning from injuries this week in the NBA. We also have a look at the MLB standings and discuss a few teams that either clinched a playoff spot or were eliminated in the NHL. Then we discuss a random assortment of stories from college sports, UFC, and the Premier League. Fails this week include a couple of Sean’s athletic feats, a wall of poop, and the Queen’s knowledge of sex toys. Kimbo Slice is the failed athlete of the week, and we finish with a MFK of Italian food, Chinese food, and Mexican food.

In other NFL news, Washington is surveying its fans about new team names, including Demon Cats, and Trevor Lawrence and his father had some interesting comments about his commitment to football. In the MLB, the Yankees have been one of the worst teams so far, and the Red Sox and Dodgers have been two of the best. Meanwhile, the Mets are the best at having their games canceled.
