Fi: Talvinen metsä oli kuin unelma, täynnä lumisia puita ja hiljainen kuin syvä uni.
En: The winter forest was like a dream, filled with snowy trees and as silent as a deep sleep.

Fi: Maija katseli ympärilleen, miettien kuinka saisi talvipäivänseisauksen juhlasta ikimuistoisen.
En: Maija looked around, pondering how she could make the winter solstice celebration unforgettable.

Fi: Hän seisoi metsän keskellä, suuressa aukiolla, joka oli tarkoitettu perinteiden mukaisille juhlamenoille.
En: She stood in the middle of the forest, in a large clearing intended for traditional festivities.
