Rob Cesternino (@RobCesternino) and Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) launch their official Game of Thrones rewatch podcast, called Winter Was Here, in which they will look back on every single episode of the HBO series, week by week.

The podcast begins with a completely spoiler-free overview of Thrones and the Seven Kingdoms overall, before diving into spoiler-filled territory, in which Rob and Josh reexamine the series through the context of seven seasons worth of material.

In the first episode of the new podcast, Rob and Josh provide a general summary of what Game of Thrones is and why it’s so wildly popular, before diving into the very first episode of the series, “Winter is Coming.” In the spoiler section, Rob and Josh take stock of the first impressions of each character, and what that might tell us about where their stories will finish when Game of Thrones ends in season eight. Plus, they have a lot of questions about why Tyrion Lannister looks so… different. Let’s go with different.
