His passion for the game never changed after COVID and knee injuries that challenged his career. Still, with mentorship and guidance from his father, 25+ yr recruiting insider Bryan Munson, mother, and the staff at UNK, he leaned into his love for football and turned challenges into opportunities. He found a new role within the UNK Lopers program and grew with the new UNK coaching staff under Coach Ryan Held. Trevor is now helping to shape future teams while keeping his dreams alive, aiming to run his ownrecruiting department one day.

Hear Trevor's story as he shifts from player to student assistant, helping recruit new talent while navigating the game from a different perspective.

In this episode, we delve into Millard West Wildcats Softball player Addison Burdorf's journey, which is not just about softball. It's about building a future and reaching a huge goal, such as committing to a D-1 college Arizona State Sun Devils Softball Program. Addison talks about how her goals have always aligned with more than just playing a sport. Starting in a recreational league, just as many young girls do every year, because she wanted to play a sport similar to her fathers favorite sport of baseball.

She began the journey, leading her through friendships and bonds she never thought she could find. Addison's path to her bright future includes playing for the renowned Aces Softball organization, a team that has helped her develop not just her pitching but her mental and physical resilience. In this episode, Addison opens up about the influence the Aces coaching staff had on her growth as a player, teaching her discipline, teamwork, and confidence as she also instills these learning lessons in her up-and-coming younger sister Aubrey.

As she prepares for her future with the Arizona State Sun Devils, Addison discusses the importance of finding opportunities that fit her vision, both on and off the field.

It was an honour to record this episode. We overuse words such as ‘hero’ and ‘inspiration’ but Sir Chris Hoy is both. Not only is he one of Great Britain’s most successful Olympic athletes (during a record-breaking career as a sprint cyclist, he won six gold medals, one silver medal, and 11 world championships) but he’s currently living with a Stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis. In September 2023, a seemingly routine trip to the doctor’s turned into a waking nightmare when he was given between two and four years to live. His beloved wife Sarra was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a month later. And yet, these two extraordinary people say they are lucky.
