Join us this week as we travel to Waukesha, Wisconsin to discuss the outlandish case of preteens committing heinous crimes against a person they claimed was their friend, all because they couldn’t distinguish between reality and the internet’s creation of the Slender Man. We all know murder is wrong and Creepy Pasta isn’t real, right?

Heya Cheeseheads! We’re continuing our alphabet soup series, with the letter B for Besties. Join us as we discuss growing up as friends, being best friends with your siblings, and neighborhood gang.  Savannah shares a short story/excerpt about never truly having one best friend and we discuss the pros & cons of one best friend vs a group of friends. Find out how we navigated middle school with Claire's friendship bracelets, MySpace top friends, and the time Kate took a different bestie on spring break and didn't tell Savannah (or anyone for that matter). Then we chat about high school and how our abundance of activities and boys (of course) kept us apart but always knowing we could pick up at any moment like little kids again.

This episode concludes with what it's like to transition from the bubble of college and having all your friends live within a 10-mile radius from you to... adulthood. Where we've come to realize that only give time to those who fill your bucket, cherish the time we do get our long-distance besties and that your hometown homies will always be there for you.
